    Matthew Hutchings
    Operations

    Matt is an experienced real estate investor and financier. He began his career over 25 years ago and during this time has executed a broad range of investments across various real estate sectors.

    Matt has extensive experience in analysing and investing in commercial real estate assets, structuring complex equity, senior and mezzanine debt facilities, alongside creating and implementing planning and asset management strategies.

    Prior to his involvement with Longcross he founded and ran Kynance Capital a real estate advisory company.

    Nick Sharpe
    Planning

    Nick is a chartered town planner with over 25 years of experience of delivering planning permissions for high value commercial development, and major public projects.

    He was a partner at Montagu Evans for over 16 years, and has advised a wide range of commercial, institutional and public sector clients. Nick brings an understanding of the political aspects of planning, combined with technical expertise.

    Nick has experience at both a strategic and practical level, helping to successfully ‘navigate’ the planning process and achieve development objectives efficiently and effectively.

    Michael Venables
    Design and construction

    Michael is a Chartered Engineer with over 40 year’s experience in the building services industry, for the past 25 years he has focused on mission critical projects specialising in industrial, technology and automotive projects in Formula 1.

    He is an experienced and respected operator, from concept design, design development, design & build and commissioning through to facility operational reviews. He specialises in a practical design approach and is a unique player within the industry.

    Michael has designed and delivered mission critical projects across the UK, Europe, Middle East and the USA.
